I am a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Computational and Applied Mathematics (CAAM) at Rice University.

Awards: National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, May 2017.

PhD Thesis: "Robust and efficient numerical algorithms for the discrete prolate spheroidal wave functions"
Advisor: Prof. Adrianna Gillman

MA Thesis: "Accelerated PDE constrained optimization using direct solvers"
Advisors: Prof. Adrianna Gillman, Prof. Matthias Heinkenschloss
Defended: November 2017.

Research Interests

Generally speaking I am interested in:
  • Computational science for engineering applications
  • High order accurate discretization techniques for PDEs
  • Efficient solution of PDE constrained optimization problems
