Abstract/Poster Submission:

Submitting Conference Abstracts and Posters

We are now accepting abstract and poster submissions on a broad range of topics in optimization and analytics. See the Call for Papers for more details.

  • Submission deadline: Monday, January 6, 2014 (only one submission per person is accepted).
  • Notification of acceptance: January 13, 2014
  • The presenter of the accepted abstract or poster is required to register for the conference. If co-authors wish to attend they also must register.
  • Abstract length must not exceed 300 characters (including spaces).

Poster submissions must adhere to the same rules as abstract submissions. For simplicity, the word "abstract" will be used from now on to refer to both abstracts and posters.

Please review this important information before submitting an abstract.

General Information

  • You are permitted only ONE abstract as a presenting author (speaker). You can be a co-author on other contributed or invited abstracts.
  • As the presenting author, you are expected to present the work at the conference.
  • Note: all attendees must register and pay the registration fee.

To Submit: Before proceeding to the login, have the following required information:

  • Contact information for yourself and any co-authors (full name, affiliation, email address and mailing address).
  • Title and abstract of your work.

Session Chair login information.

Invited Abstracts

  • Invited abstracts are submitted in response to an invitation from a member of the Program Committee.
  • You will not be able to access the logins below if an invitation has not been issued to you through the system. If you have any questions, please email: Ellen.Tralongo@INFORMS.org
  • Submit your invited abstract by clicking on the link below:
    • Enter your email address (if you have multiple emails, please use the same address we used in our email to you).
    • Enter your email address again as your password.
    • Click "LOGIN".
    • Complete your contact information (all required fields). You can change your password here, but be sure to print the screen so you have it for future use. NOTE: your email address is the key for entry into the system and is used to avoid scheduling conflicts. It's very important that you use only one email address if you enter multiple submissions.
    • Click "Save".
    • Follow the instructions provided to enter your co-authors. You can add, edit or delete co-author information at a later date, if necessary.
    • You can send a standard email to your co-authors by selecting the author and clicking "Standard" email.
    • Click on EDIT to enter your paper title and abstract.
    • Click Save.
    • Click Close.

Contributed Abstracts and Poster Submissions

  • Submit your contributed abstract by clicking on the link below:

    • Enter your email address again as your password.
    • Click "LOGIN".
